Two of my students at the University of Chester, Sophie Brooks and Nathan Morris, created these self-guided tour maps as part of their coursework for their History degree.  I am extremely proud of Sophie and Nathan, and veyr grateful that they gave their permission for their work to be shared here.

St Peter’s Graveyard Walking Tour – This map shows the location of various spots in the graveyard, including the grave of Eleanor Rigby, John’s Uncle George and Bob Paisley

Woolton Village Walking Tour – This map takes visitors on a self-guided tour of Woolton village.  Highlights include St Peter’s Church, Strawberry Field, Mendips, Woolton Baths (where John and Paul both went swimming as children) and Reynolds Park (playground for the ‘Outlaws’).

Walk in the Beatles Footsteps – the Parade Route – This map allows visitors to retrace the parade route of July 6, 1957.  It includes photos from 1957, and shows those buildings as they looked 60 years later!
