These photos were take by James Davis and can give us an idea of what the hall looked like in the late 1950s. You can see the piano up on the stage, and can just make out the steps down from the stage. It is believed that the photos of the wedding were taken in the late 1940s and, from the flags on the top table, it looks as if the groom was an American GI who married a Woolton lady.
