Although St Peter’s Church is most famous for the fete that was held in July 1957, it was an annual event. Thanks to the generosity of Rod Davis, I am able to share photos of other Church fetes here on this website.
The fetes were quite similar from year to year and so, although (as yet) there aren’t that many photos of the fete in 1957, these photos, from 1953, 1955, 1959 and 1960 can give us a good idea of the events of 1957 too! It is highly likely that a young John Lennon would have been at the fetes in 1953 and 1955!
